The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, announced on June 22 that an emergency meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors on the Iranian issue would be held on Monday, June 23.

According to him, this decision was made against the background of the rapidly escalating situation in Iran.

"In light of the urgent situation in Iran, I am calling an emergency meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors for tomorrow," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
