The country's Israeli Air Force has launched a series of strikes against military targets in western Iran. This was announced on June 22 by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

"The Israeli Air Force has launched a series of strikes against military targets in western Iran," the Israeli army's Telegram channel says.

In addition, successful attacks on rocket launchers ready to be launched towards Israeli territory and on Iranian soldiers are reported.

The US attack on Iran's three nuclear facilities became known on June 21. The American leader Donald Trump said that the attack was aimed at facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. According to Trump, the operation was successful. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in turn, said that American strikes could change history.

After the Reuters news agency reported that the American side used B-2 bombers in the strikes. Fox News channel journalist Sean Hannity reported on June 22 that the United States dropped up to six bunker bombs on the Iranian Ford and fired up to 30 Tomahawk missiles at Isfahan and Natanz.

Later, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi said that the United States had violated the UN Charter and would face long-term consequences. The minister stressed that in accordance with the UN Charter, which allows for a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all possible options to protect its sovereignty, interests and people.
