Russia and Ukraine have agreements in the humanitarian sphere, and we are moving in the right direction. This was announced on June 22 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"We have agreements with Kiev in the humanitarian sphere, we have exchanged memoranda, we are moving in the right direction," she said in an interview with the newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche.

Zakharova clarified that the Russian Federation's position on the settlement in Ukraine has not changed, it is necessary to resolve the underlying causes of the conflict. It is important for Russia to ensure that Kiev breaks with NATO and that the rights and freedoms of people in Ukraine are respected. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that Ukraine is the only multinational country where the language of the largest ethnic group, Russian, is prohibited.

On June 21, Zakharova pointed out the threat of the Kiev regime to the Russian Federation and other countries. She called on relevant international structures to pay attention to the provocations from Ukraine and respond to them.
