The air defense forces and electronic warfare systems shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and suppressed one over the Smolensk region. This was announced on June 22 by the governor of the region Vasily Anokhin.

"Two UAVs were shot down by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and one drone was suppressed by electronic warfare," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.
