A visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to Washington and US President Donald Trump to Moscow is not planned in the near future. This was announced on June 22 by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).

"It is still unknown. As the parties agree, so it will be. But so far, no one is specifically discussing anything about this," Ushakov said.

In addition, the presidential aide added that at the moment there is no information about where the meeting of the leaders of the countries may take place.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at SPIEF 2025 said that a meeting between Putin and Trump would be needed only to consolidate the results achieved, and while this is not the case, there is no need for a meeting of the leaders.
