On June 21, US President Donald Trump's special envoy for Special Assignments Richard Grenell appealed to American billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk with a request to provide the Iranians with access to the Starlink satellite communications system for several weeks.

"Can you connect Starlink in Iran for free for the next few weeks?" he wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Grenell clarified that his friends in Iran do not have constant access to information. He also indicated that he is ready to financially support the Starlink connection.

On June 9, US President Donald Trump announced that he did not intend to take any action against the Starlink satellite communications system. At the same time, he said that he could move the American company Tesla, but did not specify where.
