The Strela-10M air defense system destroyed the reconnaissance drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The calculation of the Strela-10M anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the Vostok group of forces destroyed reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the South Donets area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 22.

According to the agency, several enemy drones simultaneously hit the affected area of the Strela-10M air defense system. Among them were UAVs of the type "Fury", "Leleka-100" and "Valkyrie". As a result of precise missile strikes, all reconnaissance drones were destroyed.

On June 21, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Msta-B howitzer crews of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed three control points for UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Seversk in the area of the special operation. It was clarified that the gunners used reconnaissance drones for reconnaissance and fire correction.
