One child died as a result of a fire extinguisher explosion in the LPR

In the city of Krasny Luch, Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), one child was killed and the second was seriously injured as a result of a fire extinguisher explosion. This was announced on June 21 by the government of the LPR.

"Two boys, aged 12 and 13, threw a fire extinguisher canister into the campfire out of a prank. An explosion occurred," the government said in a Telegram message.

It is specified that one of the victims, a 13-year-old teenager, could not be saved during resuscitation, the child died in the intensive care unit of a local hospital.

The Minister of Health of the LPR Natalia Pashchenko also reported that the second boy suffered an explosive injury and was hospitalized, his condition is assessed as serious.

On June 9, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Astrakhan region reported the death of a nine-year-old boy from an electric shock in the village of Liman. It is specified that the child was staying with his grandparents and, standing on a ladder and picking berries from a tree, accidentally touched a bare electric wire, receiving a fatal blow.
