The media learned about an attempt to organize a wedding with a child in a Paris park

In the Paris Disneyland amusement park, they tried to organize a wedding, the bride of which was a nine-year-old girl. This was reported by Le Parisien on June 21, citing sources.

According to the park administration, Disneyland was closed for a private event in the morning. Upon arrival of the guests and the newlyweds, the staff discovered that the bride was a nine-year-old girl. The park administration decided to cancel the event and called the police.

"The investigations carried out, including a medical examination of a minor citizen of Ukraine, showed that she was not subjected to any violence or coercive actions, and the event itself turned out to be a setup, and the guests themselves were extras," the Paris prosecutor's office said.

According to experts, law enforcement officers detained the wedding organizers in the evening of the same day. Presumably, they are the future groom, a 22-year-old British man, the girl's mother, aged 41, and two Latvian citizens, aged 24 and 55.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. According to a police source, the groom claims that it was filming a movie, and he is the director of a production company. The witnesses in the park claim that they did not know about the staging of the wedding and thought they had come to a real event.
