An explosion has occurred in Sumy, Ukraine. This was reported on June 21 by the Ukrainian edition of "Public".

"The sound of an explosion was heard in Sumy," the Telegram channel of the publication says.

According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alert was announced in the Kiev, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava and Kharkiv regions.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.
