In Germany, about 20 German politicians and cultural figures filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office against German Chancellor Friedrich Merz after his words about Israel's actions at the G7 summit. This was reported by the Berliner Zeitung newspaper on June 21, citing a statement.

"Pop artist Dieter Hallervorden and former Bundestag deputy from the Left Party Dieter Dem have filed a lawsuit with the prosecutor's office against Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz.... The complaint was filed with the Federal Prosecutor General's Office and the Berlin Prosecutor's Office, and it was signed by about 20 people," the newspaper said.

It is clarified that the reason was the statements made by Merz on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Canada. Speaking about the actions of the Israeli army in Iran, Merz said that Israel is doing "dirty work," which, according to the politician, allegedly will benefit European leaders. The signatories of the complaint are now demanding legal consequences for the Chancellor. In addition, Merz is also accused of using Nazi language in the lawsuit.

In early 1942, SS Obersturmfuhrer August Hefner justified the mass shooting of 34,000 Jews in 48 hours at Babi Yar as "dirty work" using the same cynical language.

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said on June 18 that Merz's assessment of the conflict between Israel and Iran was the most terrible words imaginable.
