At SPIEF 2025, they called creating content for teenagers a difficult task

Creating honest and interesting content for teenagers is not an easy task. Dmitry Tabarchuk, CEO of NMG Studio LLC, told about this on June 21 at the session "Content for Teenagers: Trends, requests, the Future" at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
"Creating honest content is a complicated story. It's especially important not to use the word "honesty" as a cover, because you have to make interesting content first. And when you want to connect honestly and interestingly, it's difficult. And therefore, there are not so many projects that will shoot like "The Word of the Kid", like the TV series "Lilies of the Valley". Because it's hard work," he stressed.
According to him, sincerity in the frame is a challenge. Tabarchuk noted that it is important to show the audience emotions, not just to say the right words.
At this session, Maria Zalunina, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at the National Media Group (NMG), noted the importance of sincere stories from the point of view of social responsibility.
After appeals from teenage viewers, Zalunina said, the idea came up to add a hotline number to the finale of each episode of the second season of "Difficult Teenagers." She stressed that after that, tens of thousands of calls came to the support phones.
Earlier that day, at SPIEF 2025, Tabarchuk said that the "chemistry" in the content production process appears between the actor, director and the brilliantly written material, only in this case the series will give goosebumps. He stressed that an important part of the series is to preserve the viewer's emotions from beginning to end.
