The girl who drowned in Rostov was resting under the supervision of her classmate's parents

A girl who drowned in a swimming pool in Rostov-on-Don came to the spa complex with her classmate's parents. The sister of the deceased told Izvestia about this on June 21.

"She went to celebrate a classmate's birthday with her parents. <...> The girl was only 12 years old," she said.

She couldn't see the man who looked after the children. The Rostov resident learned from eyewitnesses that the child lying at the bottom of the pool was not noticed immediately. Later, two medical teams tried to pump the schoolgirl out of the water.

"Where was the girl's father at all at that moment, where were these rescuers?" the sister was indignant.

The incident occurred on June 21 in the Zheleznodorozhny district of the city. After the incident, the pool was closed, and a criminal case was opened into the girl's death.
