The United States may stop military support for Ukraine amid the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran. This was stated on June 20 by former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Dan Caldwell, in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, published on his YouTube channel.

"Because of this war, it will become more difficult, if at all possible, to support Ukraine. <...> We supplied the Ukrainians with more artillery shells per month than we could produce, so our stocks were reduced to a minimum," said Caldwell.

He also stressed that Washington probably will no longer be able to transfer Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) to Ukraine, as they will be needed to protect American troops in the event of a further escalation of the conflict with Iran.

American leader Donald Trump said on June 21 that the United States would not call on Israel to stop attacks on Iran. He also stated that he did not even want to talk about sending US Ground troops to Iran. In addition, the American leader questioned Europe's ability to help defuse the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Iran.
