Iran has reduced the number of rocket launches against Israel not because of a shortage of weapons, but as part of a change in military strategy. CNN reported this on June 21, citing a senior Iranian official.

According to him, Tehran has abandoned the previous tactics of mass strikes in favor of more targeted attacks using modern high-precision missiles aimed at key military installations and security centers.

"Iran has changed its approach, moving from quantity to quality. Israel should not be happy. We use modern missiles capable of hitting pre—selected targets," the source said.

The official also claims that one of the launched missiles successfully overcame air defense systems, including the American THAAD, Patriot, Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 complexes, as well as the Israeli David's Sling and Iron Dome.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on June 20 that Iran had attacked the Israeli port city of Haifa with rockets. It was clarified that the strike was carried out in response to an Israeli attack on a security facility in Tehran.
