The SPIEF emphasized the importance of developing digital trade between Russia and China

The governments of Russia and China pay great attention to the development of digital trade between the countries. On June 21, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC KIFA Sun Tianshu informed Izvestia on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).

"We have achieved many of our goals at this SPIEF. I think this forum is very productive for us because we have concluded an important strategic agreement with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). — Ed.) regarding the development of digital commerce," he said.

Tianshu added that during the SPIEF he took part in a number of sessions where Russian-Chinese trade and economic relations were discussed. According to him, in recent years, relations between Russia and China have been strengthening not only in traditional business areas, but also reaching the digital level.
