Eight people have died in a hot air balloon crash in southern Brazil.


At least eight people have died in southern Brazil as a result of a balloon crash with 22 passengers on board. This was reported on June 21 by CNN with reference to the Governor of the state, Jorginho Mello.

Rescuers are currently searching for survivors, with a total of 22 people on board the balloon.
Earlier, on June 15, in the Turkish city of Aksaray, balloons that took off from the Ikhlara Valley made a hard landing due to strong winds, killing the pilot and injuring 31 more tourists.
