During the Israeli attack, the humanitarian helicopter of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, involved in emergency rescue missions, was seriously damaged. This was announced on June 21 in the organization's Telegram channel.

"The Red Crescent humanitarian helicopter, used in emergency and rescue operations to transfer operational forces, transport humanitarian supplies and provide assistance in various incidents, was seriously damaged in one of the non—military rescue zones as a result of the brutal attacks of the Zionist regime," the publication says.

Representatives of the Red Crescent recalled that international humanitarian law and the Four Geneva Conventions prohibit attacks on civilians, rescuers and humanitarian property. At the same time, the organization stressed that Israel has repeatedly violated these norms by carrying out attacks on civilians, women, children and humanitarian facilities.

On June 16, the Mehr news agency reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had attacked a group of Red Crescent representatives while they were providing assistance. Initially, two deaths were reported, but later the number of victims increased to three.
