Amid the escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel, American B-2 stealth bombers, supported by KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft, took off from Whiteman Air Base in Missouri towards Diego Garcia, a strategic US military base in the Indian Ocean. This was reported on June 21 by the UK Defense Journal.

"In recent weeks, dozens of American aircraft have been deployed to the region, including fighter jets, tankers and reconnaissance platforms. Two US supercarriers are also operating in the attack, along with other naval and air forces," the publication says.

Flight tracking data shows that two groups of four refueling planes are connecting with the bombers over Kansas. The B-2 aircraft used the call sign MYTEE21, which was previously associated with stealth bombers.

The B-2 Spirit is designed for long-range strike missions and is capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear weapons. This is the only American aircraft specifically designed to destroy well-protected targets such as underground structures.

On June 13, it was reported that the United States had deployed its military forces to the Middle East amid the conflict between Iran and Israel. Later, on June 17, it became known about China's secret shipment of two Boeing-747 transport aircraft to Iran. According to experts, these aircraft are used to transport military weapons and equipment. On the same day, the United States sent two Lockheed C-5M Super Galaxy military transport aircraft to the Persian Gulf, which were detected near the borders of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait near Iran.
