A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 663 aircraft, 64,682 unmanned aerial vehicles, 37,102 units of special military vehicles, 611 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1,572 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 23,997 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 283 helicopters, 26,451 field artillery and mortars have been destroyed.
