The MAYOR advised exporters to test their products before entering the Chinese market

The Ministry of Economic Development recommends that Russian exporters test their products in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or Uzbekistan before introducing them to the Chinese market. This was stated on June 21 by Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, during the presentation of the projects "Strong Ideas for a New Age" at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"Before you go to China with a purely Russian product, especially educational, especially cultural, you should first try to master Kazakhstan. Go to Kyrgyzstan. Where we have a common cultural, historical, and linguistic space. And you will see that this is a task of increased complexity," Volvach said.
The deputy minister pointed out that after solving this problem, China will "open up" to exporting companies. He added that if a manufacturer has a product line for neighboring countries, especially adaptable with languages, then it will have every chance to enter the Chinese market much faster.
On June 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed to the growing interest in the Chinese language in the country. He also noted that Russia is becoming a significant partner for the People's Republic of China (PRC) in the economic sphere.
