Actor Andrey Ankudinov, in an interview with Izvestia on June 21, shared his memories of working with People's Artist of Russia Valentina Talyzina, emphasizing her perseverance, sincerity and great creative temperament.

"She was a categorically single-minded person. <... If she was genuinely attached to someone, then that attachment was very, very powerful, very touching, very reverent. Valentina Illarionovna is, of course, a star of the greatest magnitude and an absolute decoration and pride of the Mossovet Theater," Ankudinov said.

According to him, in 2017, at the festival in Jurmala, she approached him with the initiative to sing together, referring to the fact that they both come from Omsk. This is how the idea of a joint performance in the play "Wolves and Sheep" by Alexander Nikolaevich Ostrovsky arose, where Talyzina played the role of Masha Murzavetskaya.

Ankudinov emphasized that, despite the negative features of this character, Talyzina was able to find an inner justification for even the most controversial characters. According to him, she explained the behavior of her heroine by her love for her nephew, for whose talent she was ready to do a lot.

As the actor recalls, the play "Wolves and Sheep" became a real benefit for Talyzina. According to him, the audience was delighted with the production — the hall was always full. On the stage, Talyzina performed a romance, and her portraits changed on the screen. Later, in 2024, she prepared the play "The Queen of Spades", where her heroine, the Countess, sang a French romance and Hussar songs.

He said that every visit to the theater began with the fact that the artists went to Talyzina, knelt down and told her that she was great. He used to share jokes with her, because for her, as a cheerful person, it was important to cheer up before going on stage. According to him, Talyzina always found a reason to gather everyone after the performance and exchange warm words.

Talyzina died on June 21. She played more than 40 central and main roles in the Mossovet Theater and performed about 100 film roles. The actress is known for the films "Irony of Fate, or With a light steam!", "Zigzag of Luck", "Old Robbers", "Athos" and other works.
