The Turkish Foreign Ministry pointed to the proximity of a catastrophe in the Middle East due to Israel

With its attack on Iran, Israel has brought the Middle East to the brink of total catastrophe. This was announced on June 21 by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

"Israel is bringing the region to the brink of total disaster by attacking our neighbor Iran. This problem does not concern Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen or Iran, but it is undoubtedly Israel's problem," Fidan said, speaking at the opening of the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). His words are quoted by the APA agency.

According to Fidan, the international community should not allow the conflict between Iran and Israel to escalate into a larger one. The diplomat added that Israel's attacks, which could have catastrophic consequences for the Middle East, must be stopped immediately.
