Sechin expressed confidence in Russia's victory

Russia and its economy will successfully overcome unprecedented external pressure from the West. This was stated by Rosneft Chief Executive Officer Igor Sechin, concluding his key report at the SPIEF Energy Session.

"Despite the fact that our dream of an open global economy, inviolable laws protecting the inviolability of property and contractual obligations, and equal legal guarantees for all turned out to be an illusion, despite unprecedented external pressure in history, we repeat the great words spoken in June of the forty-first year and which have become a symbol of the indestructible spirit of our people: "Our cause is just, the enemy will be defeated, victory will be ours!", - said the head of Rosneft.

The head of Rosneft, concluding his report, entitled "The Odyssey of the global economy in search of the Golden Fleece. The new face of global energy," reminded the participants of the Energy Panel that the Argonauts returned to Greece with the golden fleece, but did not find happiness.

"But what is the meaning of the myth if evil is followed only by evil, and good intentions turn into their opposite? Perhaps the point is that the golden fleece, obtained by criminal means, does not bring happiness, and evil always begets evil. No miracle will happen," Igor Sechin summed up.
