Two people died as a result of a fire in a multi-storey building in Nizhny Novgorod. This was announced on Saturday, June 21, by the Department for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the city.
"Four people were rescued from the fire, two people died. The cause of the fire and the damage are being determined," the agency's website says.
It is specified that the fire was extinguished at 05:56 Moscow time. 27 specialists and seven pieces of equipment took part in extinguishing it.
On June 17, five people, including two children, died in a fire in Korolev, Moscow region. It was noted that the fire occurred in a three-room apartment on the fourth floor of apartment building No. 1 on Korsakov Street. A woman was rescued from a burning apartment.
