The Investigative Committee opened a case after a mass shooting brawl in the Irkutsk region

A criminal case has been opened into the shooting near one of the cafes in Ust-Kut by the interdistrict investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Irkutsk region. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the department on June 21.

"This morning, a fight broke out between a group of local residents near one of the cafes in the city of Ust-Kut. One of the participants in the conflict used weapons, as a result of which two men were injured," the report says.

It clarifies that the criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a, e" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("attempted murder of two or more persons committed in a generally dangerous manner").

Currently, the investigators are carrying out the necessary actions to establish the facts of the incident. In addition, operational measures are being taken to search for and identify all those involved.

Earlier in the day, it was reported about a mass brawl with the use of weapons near one of the cafes in the Irkutsk region. It is noted that as a result of the incident, two people aged 39 and 46 were taken to a local hospital.
