Expert Kulysova named ways to identify and neutralize "toxic" colleagues.

Almost everyone has had the experience of dealing with toxic people who "poison" the surrounding atmosphere with destructive behavior. On June 21, Anna Kulysova, brand director of the TDI group of communication agencies, told how to identify the so-called "toxic" at work and gave advice on how to interact with them competently.
Kulysova noted that the main task of toxic people in the professional environment is the desire to "undermine" the positions of their colleagues through provocations. At the same time, as the expert explained, there are several types of "toxic behavior."
The first is a deliberate act of aggression. Pronounced "toxins" that attack in public are susceptible to it. They try to identify the weaknesses of their interlocutors and sometimes, insubordinating, they show aggression towards not only their peers, but also their supervisors.
The second type includes individuals who intentionally question all the ideas voiced in the team. Being skeptics by nature, they adhere to the strategy of "more words, less action" while rarely taking responsibility.
People belonging to the third type put themselves above other employees and show that they understand something better. They act accordingly when they see competitors in others or try to gain recognition.
Kulysova named three ways to solve the problem of communicating with toxic colleagues.
"First of all, it's worth talking to him personally and asking him directly what's wrong with him in order to understand the person's motives. <...> If a person behaves aggressively, it often makes no sense to talk to them. <...> In this case, it is important to discuss the situation with the supervisor. You need to talk about your concerns and provide evidence that a colleague is interfering with your work," she said in an interview withГазетой.ги ".
The most extreme way to resolve the situation, if the "toxic" has strong power in the company, is to move to another department or even change jobs, the specialist summed up.
Research on the AI mental health service Via MD and hh.ru The study of the leading online recruiting platform in Russia, which was reviewed by Izvestia on June 13, showed that only 45% of Russian companies deal with issues of mental health of employees. At the same time, 90% of them record the impact of emotional burnout of employees on their business processes. At the same time, 58% of Russians surveyed noted that one of the main reasons for workplace burnout is the toxic atmosphere.
