As a result of the bad weather, almost 7.5 thousand residents of the Lazovsky district of Primorsky Krai were left without electricity. This was announced on June 21 in the press service of the Primorsky branch of JSC Far Eastern Distribution Network Company (DRSK).

"Power engineers <...> have recorded a malfunction of electrical equipment in the voltage class 35-110 kV in the Lazovsky district of Primorsky Krai. All consumers of the district were left without electricity. <...> At the moment, about 7.5 thousand people remain without electricity," the organization said in a statement.

It is specified that the cause of the damage was heavy rainfall and strong gusts of wind. Currently, experts have begun to bypass the damaged power lines to identify the damage. Upon completion of these measures, the power engineers will begin emergency recovery work.

The press service of the Vladivostok Electric Grid Company (VPP) reported on May 21 that as a result of the incident at the transformer substation, 10 residential buildings, a school and several commercial facilities in Vladivostok were left without electricity. Firefighters who arrived at the scene managed to prevent the spread of flames, thereby minimizing the damage.
