The court seized the property of the deputy head of the Russian Railways Kamenev

The property of the deputy head of the administrative and organizational staff of Russian Railways, Yuri Kamenev, was arrested by a court decision. This was reported on June 21 by RIA Novosti with reference to court materials.

It is specified that the Moscow court decided to satisfy the petition for the seizure of Kamenev's property, filed by the investigation in the case. According to the investigation, Kamenev was charged with five counts of accepting a particularly large bribe, as well as organizing a criminal community or participating in it using his official position.

The court sent him to a penal colony for eight years.

In November 2024, it was reported that Kamenev was charged with accepting a particularly large bribe. It was clarified that the investigation had opened a criminal case under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and charged Kamenev with accepting a particularly large bribe. He did not admit his guilt.
