The United States is ready to give Iran a two-week deadline to conclude a deal on the country's nuclear program. This was announced on June 20 by the American leader Donald Trump.

"We'll see what that time period will be, but I'm giving them time, and I'd say two weeks is the maximum," he replied to a journalist's question about whether Iran has time to negotiate on its nuclear program, or whether the United States could strike before the deadline.

On the same day, Trump said that the United States would not call on Israel to stop strikes on Iranian territory and would not talk about sending Ground troops to Iran. The American leader expressed doubts about Europe's ability to help defuse the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
