Yaroslavsky railway Station is being upgraded in Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Russian Railways CEO Oleg Belozerov approved plans to modernize Yaroslavsky Railway Station at the SPIEF. This was reported in the mayor's press service.
The comprehensive renovation includes the integration of the station into the city's transport system, the creation of new exits to the metro, the renovation of facades, the updating of engineering systems and the expansion of passenger areas. The historical part of the building will be restored, and the space itself will become more comfortable and modern. The capacity of the suburban area will increase by 30%, and the waiting room will double, writes Moscow 24.
By 2040, passenger traffic at the Three Stations Square hub will grow to 500,000 people per day due to the launch of HSM-1 and the development of the MDC, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
On June 5, the CPPK conducted a test trip of the new Ivolga 4.0 electric train in the Yaroslavl direction — from Moscow to Sergiev Posad. The train was distinguished by its comfort, smooth running and modern amenities. The launch of new trains is planned in the near future, notes 360.ru .
