Sergunina announced the summer season of the project "Time of Kindness"

A new season of the volunteer project "Time of Kindness" will be held in Moscow from June 28 to July 6. More than 35 patriotic, creative, socially oriented, sports and environmental events have been prepared for the participants, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"The program introduces Muscovites to different areas of volunteerism. At summer events, volunteers will make gifts for military personnel with their own hands, decorate toys for young wards of the charity foundation, make booths and scratching posts for animals from shelters," Sergunina said.

On June 28, volunteers will help with the organization of sports starts "5 versts" in squares and parks. Among the venues are VDNKh, Victory Park and Mitino Landscape Park.

On July 1, volunteers, together with the wards of one of the charitable foundations and family centers of the capital, will decorate plaster figurines. On the same day, workshops on creating diffusers for the home will be held at the Dom for Mom help center.

From June 28 to July 4, books for children's hospital patients, as well as products and personal hygiene products for people in difficult situations will be collected at the Dobro Mesto volunteer centers in different districts of the capital. In addition, it will be possible to transfer animal feed from shelters here. The volunteer centers are equipped with recycling points: waste paper, plastic and cardboard.

Among the planned events are a hiking competition, a sightseeing tour, and an environmental campaign.

Citizens over the age of six can join the events after pre-registration on the website of the Mosvolonter resource center. The event is being organized as part of the large-scale "Summer in Moscow" project.
