MP Kharchenko called the SPIEF a place for making concrete decisions

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is not only a platform for discussions, but also a place for making real decisions. Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, told Izvestia on June 20.

"The Forum is not only a platform for discussion, it is a platform for specific decisions and cases. The agreements that are being concluded here, the instructions given by the president, will become the starting point for cooperation between government, business and people for the benefit of our country," she said on the sidelines of SPIEF 2025.

The MP also noted the value of human capital for economic development, emphasizing the need to actively involve young people in achieving national goals.
