The court extended the house arrest of the Chekalin bloggers until July 26.

The Troitsky court in Moscow extended the house arrest of bloggers Valeria (Lerchek) and Artem Chekalin until July 26 in the case of the withdrawal of more than 250 million rubles from Russia. This was reported to Izvestia in court on June 20.

Earlier, the tax service issued a new bill to blogger Lerchek, the amount of which exceeded 28 million rubles. The criminal case against the Chekalins was opened in October last year. The ex-husband and wife, as well as their accomplice, were suspected of illegally withdrawing more than 250 million rubles from Russia to Dubai using forged documents (art. 193.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
