Nebenzia called unacceptable Israeli attacks on civilian targets in Iran

Russia considers Israeli attacks on peaceful targets in Iran unacceptable and illegal. This was announced on June 20 by Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Vasily Nebenzia.
"Russia considers Israel's ongoing intensive attacks on peaceful targets in Iran to be completely unacceptable and illegal from the point of view of international law," TASS quoted him as saying.
He also noted that the Russian side demands that Israel immediately stop attacks on nuclear and peaceful facilities. According to him, Russia is ready to provide the necessary assistance to the two countries to resolve the conflict between them.
In addition, the Russian permanent representative to the UN also added that the Israeli authorities had shown a disdainful attitude towards the United States, which was trying to achieve a diplomatic solution around Iran's nuclear program.
On June 13, Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations announced that Russia condemns the attack on Iranian nuclear facilities and is concerned about the possible consequences that Israel's actions may entail. According to him, the strike by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has pushed the region towards a "large-scale nuclear catastrophe."
