Rosneft has agreed to cooperate with federal agencies

Rosneft signed two strategic agreements at SPIEF on the development of corporate governance and environmental support for projects. Igor Sechin, the company's Chief executive Officer, signed the relevant documents with Rosimushchestvo and Rosprirodnadzor at SPIEF.
The agreement with Rosimushchestvo provides for joint work to improve corporate governance standards in companies with state participation. The parties will work together to improve the standards and methodological framework of corporate governance, including analyzing best practices.
The document was signed by Igor Sechin and Head of the Federal Property Management Agency Vadim Yakovenko.
The agreement with Rosprirodnadzor concerns consulting and expert support for the company in the implementation of investment projects. The agency will help ensure compliance with environmental safety requirements at all stages — from design to commissioning, the company said.
The partners will also prepare proposals for improving Russia's environmental legislation and create working groups. The agreement was signed by Igor Sechin and the head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova.
