Within companies that employ representatives of different generations, it is necessary to create an environment for the intergenerational exchange of competencies. Antonina Priezdeva, HR Director of Gazprom Media Holding, told about this on the sidelines of SPIEF 2025.
"Our goal is to transform the idea from the sensational trend of incompatible differences between generations Y and Z into a resource in order to create an environment within the company for the exchange of competencies between these generations, whose patterns of behavior will complement each other," said Antonina Priezdeva.
According to Priezheva, Gazprom Media Holding pays special attention to developing a behavioral-oriented talent attraction strategy using the corporate youth career guidance program PROfnavigator and expanding the scale of volunteering and employee volunteerism.
Thus, the majority of the company's employees are millennials seeking stability and recognition. At the same time, the market of creative and digital specialists is dominated by buzzers, whose focus is the company's mission, the balance of life and work, and a variety of tasks. The expert also stressed that the difference in approaches and priorities in solving tasks will allow to build an effective system of mentoring and process optimization.
