Gref announced the first Moscow startup summit

Sber and the Moscow City Hall will hold the first Moscow Startup Summit in the fall. This was stated at the SPIEF by the President and Chairman of the Management Board of the bank, German Gref.

"Moscow has created unique measures to support small industrial companies, and I can announce our new initiative to you right now," he said.

The summit will focus on technology entrepreneurship and venture capital investments. The event will take place in early October at the Sberbank site in Rublevo-Arkhangelskoye.

"We are going to make this a big event and will hold it annually," Gref said.

He also noted that Sber has developed many tools that help entrepreneurs with the opening of their company. Among them is the Sber500 business accelerator. There are also programs for students and schoolchildren.
