Dodik spoke about the obstacles of the West when traveling to SPIEF 2025

All politicians who travel to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025) are condemned by the West, but despite this, they come. The President of Republika Srpska (RS, an entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina) told Izvestia on June 20. Milorad Dodik on the sidelines of SPIEF 2025.

"We are attacked and condemned all the time, but we are not afraid, and we come," he said.

For example, the West is trying to restrict entry to Russia for representatives of Eastern Europe. According to Dodik, there are states that are ready to help in this matter. He noted that Russia can be reached through Turkish Istanbul. However, in this way, "you can't be sure tomorrow," he added.

Russia's main international economic forum will be held in the second half of June.

Earlier, on June 15, Dodik announced his intention to develop relations with Russia. He also noted that Republika Srpska's relations with Russia are at a strategic level, and Moscow has found ways to strengthen its economy against the backdrop of Western sanctions.
