Rosneft and the Ministry of Finance signed an agreement on cooperation in the financial sector

Rosneft and the Russian Ministry of Finance signed an agreement on cooperation in the financial sector at the SPIEF.

According to the press service of the oil company, the agreements are aimed at comprehensive cooperation that will contribute to the development and implementation of steps to reduce the negative impact of restrictive measures against Russia in general and Russian legal entities in particular.

The agreement provides for assistance in arranging settlements with friendly countries in national currencies, the development of medium- and long-term interbank lending in rubles and currencies of friendly countries, as well as the development of international communication platforms in the Russian Federation and abroad. In addition, it is planned to establish cooperation in the field of expert and analytical activities.

The document was signed by Rosneft's Chief Executive Officer Igor Sechin and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
