Komsomolsk-on-Amur received Cheremukha Square as a gift from graduates

A new tradition has appeared in Komsomolsk-on-Amur — this year's school graduates planted trees near the recently built children's technopark "Euristika". The "Alumni Square of 2025" appeared on Dzerzhinsky Street.
The initiative belongs to the children and teachers themselves, writes IA AmurMedia. The former wasteland is now decorated with 41 acacia and bird cherry trees. The number of seedlings is no coincidence. The fact is that there are exactly so many graduating classes this year.
Each tree has a sign indicating the school, class, and year of graduation. It also contains the alumni's wishes for their hometown.
Proms in Komsomolsk-on-Amur this year are scheduled for June 28.
Earlier, analysts at the fintech company Humopeu and the analytical resource Check Index found that the average cost of preparing for graduation this year increased below the inflation rate, and in some positions even decreased. Research has shown that modern graduates prefer practicality and comfort to expensive outfits. The demand for evening dresses and shoes remained at the same level as last year, while the popularity of sneakers and atelier services increased markedly.
