The area of forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory has grown to 171 hectares

The area of forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory has exceeded 170.1 hectares in recent days. So far, there is no threat to human settlements.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, fires were recorded in the Magansky, Yeniseysky, Nizhne-Yeniseysky, Karatuzsky and Mininsky forest districts. 163 people and three pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire.

The authorities claim to be in control of the fire situation.

Earlier, on June 16, it was reported that experts had localized most of the wildfires in the Trans-Baikal Territory and Buryatia. In Transbaikalia, specialists eliminated 20 forest fires on an area of 375 thousand hectares, and 10 more were localized on an area of 91 thousand hectares. In addition, 19 forest fires on almost 32 thousand hectares have been eliminated in Buryatia.
