Murashko noted the importance of responsibility after receiving a free education
Citizens who have received free education should have social responsibility. This was stated to Izvestia on June 20 by Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
"Where the state invests a resource and provides free education, respectively, investing a certain resource in a person, then a person's responsibility to the state and those needs must also exist. That is, it is a two—way road," he believes.
Murashko added that currently there are a lot of information systems and support measures that allow you to fully see the situation and predict the staffing needs in the areas of the healthcare system.
"Now there should be clear resources that consolidate responsibility to each employer and to each graduate. Therefore, responsibility and social responsibility are probably the most important things here," the minister stressed.
According to Murashko, the state creates modern jobs, while about nine facilities are being commissioned per day, either completely renovated or completely new. However, in this regard, the heads of regions should create conditions for the arrival of specialists.
"Since different needs exist in different regions and, consequently, different directions, of course, a set of tools is needed," he concluded.
On May 14, Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, told Izvestia that the main purpose of the draft law on regulating admission to paid education at universities being considered in the State Duma is to synchronize the education system and the demands of the labor market. At the same time, the bill provides for a balanced approach to admission to universities on a commercial basis, taking into account the specific needs of the regions.
