Russia tolerates US President Donald Trump's statements about Russian leader Vladimir Putin and expects reciprocity in return. This was stated on June 20 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with Sky News.

"President Trump has his own unique language and manner of speaking, we are quite tolerant and expect everyone to be tolerant of us, in return we are tolerant of our counterparts," Peskov said.

According to him, all world leaders have a "different language" of communication.

On June 18, Trump announced that he had held telephone talks with Putin the day before. The US president noted that Putin had offered to help resolve the conflict between Israel and Iran, but Trump responded by offering to "deal with this later."
