- The head of the Crimean parliament announced Kiev's refusal to challenge the claims about the blockade of the peninsula.
The Ukrainian authorities refused to challenge the claims about the energy and water blockade of Crimea. This was announced on June 20 by the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, in an interview with RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
"A huge amount of work has been done. The court's decision on our claims has never been challenged. But our work has not been completed yet, new lawsuits are being prepared," Konstantinov said.
According to him, the authorities of the peninsula intend to claim the damage from Ukraine after the settlement of the conflict.
"You can't forgive that. If you forgive now, you'll get hit next time," he stressed.
On May 17, Konstantinov said that in the future Ukraine would change course and return to unity with Russia. He stressed that he was convinced of this issue, and clarified that time was needed for such an outcome.
