Kursk court arrested the owner of the confectionery holding in absentia
The Leninsky Court arrested in absentia the accused beneficial owner of the confectionery holding PJSC "Konti Production Association" Boris Kolesnikov for facilitating terrorism. This was reported on June 19 in the joint press service of the judicial system of the Kursk region.
"The court chose a preventive measure against him in the form of detention from the moment of extradition or detention on the territory of the Russian Federation," the Telegram channel said.
The Ukrainian citizen is charged by the preliminary investigation authorities under Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Assistance to terrorist activities"), which provides for life imprisonment. The press service clarified that the judicial act can be appealed.
The press service of the FSB Directorate for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) reported on June 14 that Natalia Andronova, a resident of Mariupol, was sentenced to six years in prison for publicly calling for terrorism and extremism. She is charged under Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public calls to carry out terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism") and Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls to carry out extremist activities").
