Traffic on the road section has been restored in the north-east of Buryatia

Traffic on the Severobaikalsk — Novy Uoyan —Taksimo highway section in the Muisky district of the Republic of Buryatia has been restored. This was announced on June 20 by the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Traffic has been restored for all types of transport, on km 272+397 m of the Severobaikalsk —Novy Uoyan—Taksimo highway," the department said in a Telegram channel message.

Restrictions on this section of the highway were introduced on June 15. According to the Telegram channel of the press service of the regional branch of the Ministry of Transport, the relevant measures were caused by the exit from the Kovokta riverbed, which occurred due to melting snow and heavy precipitation.

On May 14, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Dagestan reported that as a result of a rock collapse, more than 50 settlements were left without road connections.
