The date of the third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine may be agreed as early as next week. This was announced on June 19 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Now we are focusing on the fact that the date of the third round of consultations will be agreed next week," he said in an interview with RT.

Peskov also noted that the parties have already exchanged draft memoranda, but they have yet to compare reactions to the relevant documents.

Peskov, in the Izvestia studio at SPIEF 2025 on June 19, said that the topic of the third round of negotiations with Ukraine could be the continuation of humanitarian exchanges, including prisoners. He also noted that as interlocutors in the negotiations, the Ukrainian authorities cannot be trusted, therefore, the Russian Federation is ready to resort to the mediation services of the United States in order to resolve problems peacefully.
