- The Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of the Russian military in the special operation zone

On June 20, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of a special military operation (SVO).
Thus, the department noted the actions of Guard Corporal Pavel Datsyuk, who, while serving at an air surveillance post, detected attack drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) approaching the positions of Russian troops. After the report and clarifying the ownership of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by means of communication, the soldier was given the task of destroying them.
When the drones approached the acceptable firing range, Datsyuk destroyed all enemy air targets with targeted fire from personal weapons. In total, he shot down four enemy FPV drones. Thanks to his professionalism and courage, kamikaze drones designed to launch a fire attack on Russian military units were hit and detonated in the air, which made it possible to avoid possible losses in equipment and personnel of the Russian Armed Forces.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation drew attention to the merits of Private Nikita Pavlov, who during the special operation carried out tasks to deliver ammunition to the positions of Russian units located in the immediate vicinity of the line of contact. Pavlov repeatedly traveled to the most dangerous areas of the front line and, despite artillery shelling and attacks by Ukrainian FPV drones, carried out the delivery of ammunition and supplies to Russian soldiers, as well as evacuated the wounded from the front line.
Returning to his starting point after delivering supplies to the company's combat positions, he received radio information about a wounded serviceman. Despite the mortar attack that had begun, as well as the risk of an attack by enemy FPV drones, Pavlov moved forward to help the wounded man. Arriving at the scene, he heard the distinctive sound of a reconnaissance drone, covertly took up a position behind a tree and, as soon as the UAV entered the field of view, opened aimed fire from standard small arms. After destroying the drone, he provided first aid to the wounded man and carried him to the evacuation point. As a result of Pavlov's brave and decisive actions, an enemy drone was destroyed and a serviceman was rescued.
On June 18, the Ministry of Defense reported that the gunners of the 18th Combined Arms Army from the Dnepr group of forces, having received the coordinates of the location of the AFU ammunition storage facility, struck it with a 152-mm Msta-B howitzer. Prior to this, aerial reconnaissance of the unit revealed the movement of Ukrainian militants, who often brought ammunition to one of the abandoned houses on the right bank of the Dnieper.
