Two passenger cars collided on the Lipetsk — Dankov road in the Lipetsk region. One person was killed and two others were injured.
The accident occurred on the afternoon of June 19 on 36 km of the highway. According to GOROD48, the 62-year-old driver of a Skoda Octavia car entered the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a Jaecoo car driven by a 55-year-old man.
The Skoda driver died on the spot. The driver of the second foreign car and his passenger were taken to the hospital. An accident investigation is underway.
Over the past day, 277 road accidents occurred on the roads of Russia, in which 22 people were killed and 352 injured.
